In this project I am principal grant applicant, project supervisor (together with Annemie Halsema & Marjolein de Boer)
NWO PhD in the Humanities grant (2019-2024). This project is conducted by PhD researcher Hans-Georg Eilenberger.
Project description
What does ageing mean for older people themselves? Common concepts and models are often inadequate to answer this question. This project developed a new conceptual framework based on the lived experience of older people. Philosophical research combined with qualitative methods has provided insights into the multiplicity and intertwining of meanings in later life.
